The story takes place during and at the close of the Korean War and is just as timely today as it was then, as evidenced by the popularity of the movie "Lion". It is a quick and easy read and is informative about experiences of all refugee children, especially orphans who do not arrive with a parent or other family around to filter, to explain and reassure a child, about the new world they have landed in. I would have liked a little more information about the laws, practices and prejudices of the home country and the adoptive country's people, not in great depth but enough to explain the situation.… (mais)
