Camel Drawing is originally written in Mongolian. This story is about a young boy who creates a picture of a camel. He was influenced to show the picture to other people, who continue to make suggestions on how to "improve" it. By the end, his changed drawing looks unrecognizable and nothing like a camel. The boy was sad by the drawing. According to ICDL summary, the theme of this book is to have your own opinion. The illustrations of this books carry what is happening in the story, making it easier for a reader to construct the story line. The style of the illustrations are simple and the color choices are bold. The technique used for the picture is unique making them look cartoon like and not an American style.

Age Appropriate: 3 to 6 years-old
