What a phenomenal book! It is huge in scope and yet the author doesn't let you get lost. The characters are well drawn and grow and mature in a satisfying fashion as the storyline progresses.
Absolutely riveting and I tore through it at (for me) breakneck speed. I know there is a re-read in the future!

Reminded me a bit of Avatar: The last Air Bender, and Orson Scott Card's Red Prophet. Really really good story.
I loved the characters, loved the world building, loved the pacing- just a great book all around.

A steampunk adventure with some intriguing mythology. The romance was a little too sweet for my taste, and I wasn't particularly attached to either character but this story was a decent way to pass time with.
