How To Get A Married Woman To Have Sex With You...If You're Her Husband is a 85 page primer on the unspoken wants and needs of married women -- written by a man.
Review:
I decided to read this book because the title caught my eye, as did the fact that it was written by a man. Stephan Labossiere has written a sort of “how-to” guide for understanding woman, their needs, their emotions, and their sexuality. I, being a woman, was super skeptical when I first began reading, but after a couple pages, I found the topics and writing style quite humorous. This short little book is an attention grabber as well as an attention keeper; which is good since most of the men I know have little patience for long-winded explanations and example-filled stories. The chapters are concise, and written as if you are having a conversation with the author, sections include: ‘Happy Woman = Happy Man’, ‘That’s The Last Darn Time…..’, ‘A Connection Deeper Than Sex’, and ‘You Gotta Do More Than Just Lick It!’ . It is obvious that Stephan Labossiere has done his homework, and he definitely knows a lot about women and what they want in a relationship; however, as a friend pointed out, he never really discusses how to “rekindle” the passion and intimacy between a husband and wife who have grown apart, and with today’s increasing divorce rate, that chapter would have been a major plus. Also, I was surprised to see references and quotes from the Bible, since the outside cover blurb didn’t mention any religious affiliation. I am a Christian, so I thought it was interesting to relate the topics of sex, relationships, and God, but I do see it as a stumbling point for certain readers. Overall, I liked the wit and down-to-earth style, as well as Labossiere’s ideas about womanly thoughts. I will probably be recommending this book to my guy and girl friends, married and unmarried, because it gives women insight too.
