Creighton Lacy

This book is about a missionary that returns to China in the 70's after being forced out by the Communists in the 40/50's. He is the 3rd generation of China missionaries from his family and was born there. The book is a tale of coming home and seeing the changes. He gives his opinions on how the country seems so much better off under communist rule and why. An interesting read, but with the knowledge we have now of the Cultural Revolution, many of his positive observations turned out to be untruths in the end.… (mais)
