Críticas

I enjoyed this account of the author's year-long challenge to climb the 214 fells documented in Wainwright's Pictorial Guides to the Fells of Lakeland. It conveys the joys (and tribulations) of walking in Lakeland in all seasons and I sympathised with the author's trepidation at some of Wainwright's enthusiastic descriptions of "rock steps" and "true mountaineering"! The two sets of colour plates add a lovely touch. It's not a life-changing book, but it's an easy read and would surely be appreciated by all lovers of Lakeland.
