About the Author
Robert McGrath is the executive chef and owner of the Roaring Fork restaurant. This bistro and bar in Scottsdale, Arizona, is spearheading the American Western cuisine movement. McGrath has been winning cooking awards since 1985. The James Beard Foundation has nominated him for the Best Chef in mostrar mais America -- Southwest award in 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, and 1999. The White House chose McGrath to organize and execute dinners for the heads of state attending the 1991 Economic Summit for Industrialized Nations. In 1988, Food and Wine magazine named him to its list of the Ten Best New Chefs in America. In addition, McGrath was chosen to participate on the 1986 United States Culinary Team. He also served as chef at several hotels/resorts, including the Mobil Five Star Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, Four Seasons hotels in Austin and Houston, Texas, and the Disneyland Hotel in California. mostrar menos
