A swashbuckling, action driven complex campaign from Chaosium with magnificent art and wonderful production values. This is great presentation but the campaign is complex and will require an experienced keeper and gaming group, not least to role play out the different factions and agendas that are a t play throughout the campaign. This isn’t for the weak hearted nor the bashful. It’s got some truly great chapters, like Oklahoma, parts of New York, Calcutta (why hadn’t this been used a a Cthulhu location before?) and parts of the others. There’s a tendency to be a little similar with regards to the villains bases in each locations but this is pulp Cthulhu after all. I just liked the other aspects of pulp that were attempted to be addressed with the noir like chapter in New York, truly sinister seeds in Oklahoma and the mystical orient in India. Very good but very hard.… (mais)
