Anne Browning Walker

Being an attorney with a shoe obsession, I loved the cover of this book! Unfortunately, that was about the only thing I loved about this book. That and the positive message the book conveyed (assuming you could finish the book to get the whole message).

I just could not connect with these characters. I was hoping that Trip would grow on me as the book progressed, but he never did. And I didn't feel any chemistry between him and Bambi. Overall, the story was a bit predictable. I hate not finishing a book, so I kept reading, but there wasn't much going on that would have me recommend this to a friend.
