If some computer instruction books are "teach yourself", then this one should be classified as "follow me". Williams has little time here for deep discussions of all the options available in Wordpress. His mission is to help you get your site up and running as quickly as possible, with a good set of features that prepares it for future evolution and growth. He succeeds almost totally. His instructions are clear, concise, and easy to follow. The plugins he recommends seem to be good ones. My only criticism is that I would like to hear a little more about custom menus--but there are a plethora or other Wordpress resources I can use to answer those questions.
