I have two areas of primary interest:

1. American Civil War, especially from Union perspective, including battles and primary actors such as Lincoln and Grant.

2. Theology especally contemporary New Testament scholars such as N.T Wright who define the Gospel in terms of Messiah, Kingdom and New Creation.
