The huge amount of books that we have in our house are due to my husband being an avid reader, historian & teacher of many subjects. His passion for books is now in the past as he suffers from the very sad disease of Dementia. Whereas he knew where every book was located in the house, I did not so I decided to catalogue them all, working through one bookcase at a time. I was put onto this website by a librarian friend & was surprised how easy it was to do this.It will take me a long time to get through them all but as my life is mainly at home caring for my husband, I shall endeavour to follow it through.
