Please be patient with me, as I'm new to the site, and I'm adding books only as I read them. I see little value in attempting to write reviews for books I haven't touched in ages just to fill out my profile. It doesn't seem fair to the book, unless my review is fresh from my having just read the book.

I enjoy reading about psychology, philosophy, dreams, astral travel, mystical experiences (such as near death experiences- I've had two), Taoism, chakras, quantum mechanics, the paranormal, starseeds, the Law of Attraction, the fine arts, the occult, the history of the human condition, heart-based consciousness, intuitive spiritual practices, self-empowerment, children's literature, the classics in literature the world over from antiquity on... in a nutshell: anything that inspires me to grow, change, and deepen.

I believe humanity's final frontier is ourselves. I'm a glass half full. I have a fierce love for all animal life. I enjoy writing songs, journaling, astral travel, and dream analysis. I like simple things like tea, cats, constellations- feeling small against the majesty of the universe and finding the magic in every little thing.

I used to be nostalgic for another time and place, believing for much of my life that I didn't belong here on Earth at the turn of the 21st century. This belief was so pervasive and palpable- like another limb. I've since found solace in books and in nature. I yearn to correspond with another woman in the spirit of the Victorian era- in a deep and meaningful way- via both modern and traditional means. I'm a writer, but it is into someone else’s world of specters and inkwells that I also long to fall, if even only briefly- and if I should be so charmed— for junctures of unusual depth, intensity, and beauty. A reverie it has been for me that I might find someone with whom I may trade the lucid poetry of experience. I have been on penpal sites for many years to no avail. I hope we find each other here.
