Bug "Add books"

Every time I add a book to my library, it automatically gets added to the "Read but unowned" colection, which I do not want. I would rather add the book to another collection of my choice (for me, that would be "Your library"). I don't see any option for that. Even worse, the ategory doesn't even show when adding the book, so I have to select and deselect the categories several times to add them to my library. Can someone fix this and add the relevant option?

Also, what does "Inactive barcodes" mean in https://www.librarything.com/settings/barcodes, and what is accomplished by freeign them up?

When you are on the Add Books page, you can select the collection to which you want the book added. It's just below the "Tags to add" box.

Are you adding barcodes when you add books? This does not mean the ISBN barcodes, but your own barcodes. If not, it doesn't make any difference how this feature is set.

BTW, anytime you manually enter a book, the collections are reset to whatever you used for that book. You then need to reset your preferred option.

>3 MarthaJeanne: My setting always seems to be Wishlist, even if I’ve changed it to something else. But the first thing I do after adding something is go to the edit page to add details, so it’s not a big deal to change collections.

When I go to the Add Books page and change the checkbox(es) in "Add to Collections," my settings persist and are applied correctly. But I have to make the change prior to search.

>1 Nine99: Are you adding from the app or from the website? This will make a difference on how the advice comes in, because each has a slightly different way to change the default collection it's being added to.
