There are two images in the gallery for Derek Fridolfs - https://www.librarything.com/author/fridolfsderek
The one currently designated the Primary Picture - https://www.librarything.com/pic/10667727 renders as a thumbnail, but not as a complete image:
The other image - https://www.librarything.com/pic/10667706 - renders correctly, but is currently flagged as a duplicate.

The images certainly look like duplicates, but both look fine on my system. Which raises the possibility that it's your computer. (Not saying it is, but it might be.) Always, in cases like this, you should list details about your set-up, e.g. system and browser. E.g., for me, this would be
ARM Mac
Mac OS Ventura 13.6.3
FireFox 123.0.1
Giving this information gives the developers a basis to compare against.

>2 waltzmn: Ooops. Forgot to do that:
Intel iMac, Mac OS 11/17.10, FF 123.0.1, also with Safari 16.6.1
ETA
In FF, if I use Web Developer Tools, and hover over <img class="pic" alt="" src="https://pics.cdn.librarything.com//picsizes/13/38/1338dc0e7b7f06b636b6e6836774377424c4145_v5.jpg"> in <div class="gallery_pic"> it says "Could not load the image"

Also happening on Safari on iPhone SE iOS 15.8.1, so possibly not computer dependent. CDN issue? Maybe another example of https://www.librarything.com/topic/355490#n8443673
