I love stories of union organizing because the strength and courage it takes people to give up their livelihood and put themselves at risk for abuse for the benefit of justice gives me hope for the future. With vibrant illustrations and a wonderful story, why wouldn't I be proud to teas of Clara's bravery. ( ) This book would be good for intermediate level aged students. This book is about Clara who immigrated to the United States for a better life. While she was in the U.S. She was upset by the conditions that she had to work in being a seamstress. Through the book she works to fight for women's and workers rights. This book would be good to use in the classroom to bring attention to immigration and workers rights. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
