Holy moly this book plot is a new one for me- Truly has a lot of those wtf moments!
It's kind of sad and a bit naughty the way Evie feels about Jay & Cynthia getting it on only 4 feet from her bed. Frankly that's kind of crapy of a best friend to do especially once all Jay's cards are laid on the table. There's something going on with Cynthia and when it comes out and what she suggest is really a wtf moment. My heart was going out to Evie and I just wanted her to run for the hills. The book ends with things kind of settled and my stomach in knots knowing there is no way this will be good enough for Evie.

I love Pipe the most. He cracks me up especially his love of Rocky Horror Picture. His insight into Evie and Jay is wonderful to see and something they both need.

The story I fear will have heartache for Evie and I don't want that. She deserves to have Jay and love him freely without all the complications. If only they weren't too afraid in the beginning to express themselves this mess wouldn't be happening.

Cynthia had no right to do what she did. But Jay as sweet and kind he may be this is partially his fault. First who says he is breaking up with someone and than tells that person they love them. Who asks someone to put themselves in the situation he put Evie in and say they love them? To me he doesn't deserve Evie but Evie loves him so I have to go with her feelings although I think for her this will go badly.

Cynthia I just don't like. Her neediness and way of making all feel guilty and like she is all alone is just blech. Putting Jay in this situation when he tried to break up with her was so wrong on many many levels. He is a big boy though.

This is a story of confusion and love a complicated emotion that has one do crazy things. I only hope Evie doesn't get hurt. A nice erotic read. ( )
