This is the second book in the series and the second book of the series that I've read (though I don't think I've yet read book 1). The title seems more fitting for Blue and Sarah (who get married in this book) rather than Tess and Ryder who are the subject of the book. Though I like the Donahue family as a whole and admire Alec and Maggie for adopting 7 boys and raising them to be admirable men, i find I grow weary of the romance plot of two people who love each other being unwilling to challenge the status quo (friendship in this case) because of being afraid of losing the relationship altogether--while not seeing that not addressing their true feelings is just as damaging to the relationship. At some points, I just wanted someone to shake both Tess and Ryder.

I think one of the illustrations of the Donahue family is how the Donahue and their sons take to Seth and support Tess in her decision to let him live with her for his senior year. ( )
