Absolutely loved this grad finale to The Selection series. Everything I thought was missing in the first companion book was present in this one. I loved how the characters absolutely came to life on the page and that, as a reader, I was really cheering for Eadlyn and the boys. Really well done, Cass.

I FINALLY made it to the last book in this series. It has been a long time coming... Me staring at this full series and slowly tackling it one by one. It was my goal to finish it, and I did!

This book was a simple read for me. Kiera's writing is smooth and flows well, and the story is a cutesy YA one that doesn't really destroy your heart or soul too much. It's a nice contemporary read that made me smile. The ending didn't make me smile (come ON Eadlyn), but hey... whatever.

It seemed like this was the initial thought but wasn't executed as well as I thought it was going to be. Kiera did lead us on some different paths, but I felt the ending just wasn't strong enough and didn't hit well. It felt like it was out of left field or that the book suddenly hit it's page cap so it had to get to the finale. I wish we had a little bit more time developing to get to that ending instead of just BAM, here ya go.

Either way, still a great, quick read that allowed me to disassociate away from the world. I'll definitely grab more of Kiera's books for her lovely writing style.

This was a good ending to the Selection series. I knew way ahead of time who she was going to pick, but the rest of the ending was mostly a surprise.

All in all, a great book. It cleared up loose ends, had a happy ending, what else do you need in a book? ( )
