He is dominant but he has a gentler approach, he has a bit of charm. Namoriee got on my nerves to be honest, he treated her well, for the most part, esp for a woman in their time but she just couldn't accept him and this went on for so long. I think this book gives you an insight into Xavier from book 1 as you see him from a different perspective. He is a changed man regarding his treatment of his wife but some events overlap, this is handled well, it isn't a rehash or repetitive as we find out things from a different angle and are given details of events that were not revealed in the first book. izzied | Oct 29, 2020 | sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

Like I said in my review of the first book, these started off as Wattpad books that were then self-published.
Typical medieval, horses and swords and tribes full of alpha males and women who fall in love with them :)
it's an easy read and if you love darker romances, I suggest these series.
although i don't think the author is coming back to finish it :( (
