"It was the perfect plan. I needed a wife--temporarily--in order to inherit the family business. And she needed a favor--the kind that takes nine months to deliver. We had it all worked out, from the no-touching policy on our wedding night (her rule) to the no-falling-in-love decree (mine). She'd marry me, I'd give her the means to have the baby she'd always wanted, and one year later we'd amicably part ways with no hassle, no demands, and certainly no regrets. After all, Bianca DeRossi and I are experts at infuriating one another--we've been doing it since we were kids. Trouble is, she grew up gorgeous and feisty, and she still knows exactly how to get under my skin. And that wedding night? Well, it doesn't exactly go down hands-free. Then she moves in with me, and I really start to lose my mind. From her sexy little pout to her wicked sense of humor to those meatball sandwiches she makes just because she knows they're my favorite... I find myself wanting to break every rule we put in place. Our story was never supposed to end with happily ever after. But call me crazy, I just might be in love with my wife." -- Back cover… (mais)

Bianca DeRossi wants a baby, but her previous boyfriend cheated on her and left her without one, so when Enzo Moretti tells her that he must get married to inherit his father's business, she comes up with an idea that will meet both of their needs - a fake marriage that will get both of them what they want. After creating a contract to spell out what the marriage would entail, both Bianca and Enzo almost immediately break rules, including the one that says, "No sex."

Call Me Crazy is a cute marriage of convenience rom-com with lots of banter and steamy scenes between the two protagonists. The story isn't deeply emotional, but it carries enough weight to maintain interest from beginning to end. Especially cute are the references to the television show, I Love Lucy throughout the book that add a bit more depth to the comedy. Characters from previous books in the series appear to help Bianca and Enzo find their way to a happily ever after. However, some people may take issue with the way infertility is handled in the plot. Overall though, Call Me Crazy is a very enjoyable romance with satisfying conclusion. ( )

This one is hard to rate. It was actually really good ... until it wasn't.

To start off with, I was not a huge fan of Bianca. I didn't like her when we met her in book 2. But I was willing to give her a chance. And she wasn't bad in this book at first. But then she got really annoying and kind of ruined the end for me.

Enzo needs a wife. Bianca wants a baby. So the two decide to get married to solve both of their problems. It would all be purely professional. They even wrote down rules. Enzo's most important rule ... for Bianca not to fall in love with him.

But of course they all in love with each other. Of course there's misunderstanding and hurt and they end up apart even though they both really want to be together. And at the end of the day, they do end up together. But not until Enzo has to jump through some hoops and prove his love. Which he did beautifully I'll admit. But also entirely unnecessarily. This author has a bit of a recipe to this series: an unlikely pairing, the guy doesn't want a relationship but ends up falling in love anyone, then because of his fears, he drives the woman away and has to make a grand gesture to get her back. That is what happened in all the books in this series except Enzo didn't really fit the narrative. He never really did anything wrong, but Bianca leaves him anyway because of her fears. Not his. She was kind of annoying. Nevertheless, these two actually went through a lot in this book so it was nice to see them get the HEA. ( )

Call Me Crazy is the third book in the Bellamy Creek series, this time focusing on Bianca and Enzo, and following the marriage of convenience trope.

Enzo and Bianca make a deal with one another to get married, with Enzo doing so for the Moretti and Sons inheritance, and Bianca doing it so she can have a child.

From there, they create a contract with each other on the marriage with phases such as the engagement, marriage, with or without the baby involved, and the breakup. Along with some rules like no sex, no nagging, no falling in love.

Over the course of the entire novel, the rules and phases get broken. Such as the engagement where Bianca kisses Enzo, the marriage with the two of them saying their vows, plus steamy times in the inn, and the last phase, the breakup one, which is where things go from good to slowly getting bad.

This book subverted my expectations, since I thought that there was going to be a baby storyline involved, but there wasn't one at all. Rather, this one focuses on the conflict of the two of them in their marriage and also realizing that they do love one another.

Phase three is when things take a turn, since Enzo discovers the box of unopened Clomid pills and that Bianca hasn't been taking them, and leaves since they both fulfilled their things. He got the company, she didn't get the child.

As things go on, the overall ending to the story is in which Enzo gives another chance and wins Bianca back, after his family also realizes that he's in love with her, by telling her how he loves her and decides to marry her again, this time with Father Mike's blessing and not from the City Hall. And, they get their kids in the end too.

I would say that this one is definitely one my favorites on the series. I loved Enzo and Bianca did take some time for me to grow a bit, but I eventually enjoyed her too.

The steamy scenes in this book were great too, such as the apron scene and Enzo dressing up as Edward Mullins (Edward Cullen) for Bianca.

And now, the last book is coming, with the last one in the group, being Beckett and Maddie, so I'm curious as to how it'll go. ( )

Another great book to add to this cute interconnected series. This had all the makings of one of my guilty pleasures; enemies to lovers, fake marriage, and a baby. It started a bit differently than I was expecting with how the proposal came about. However, I busted up at the engraving thing with the ring and how that might have been a bust.

Even though the premise was there, I did feel like that certain spark that I normally expect from characters such as Enzo and Bianca was not there. I never fully got the feeling that they were connected until later in the book as their feelings started to change. Up to that point, it just felt a little forced. However, their connection was cute.

The author does discuss fertility issues which were a little refreshing to see, especially as it is a common thing that many women face. I liked that she handled it with such grace. However, I struggled with the fact of timing in this relationship considering that time is not as easy as three tries or three months and then a miracle would happen, so that part of working out the logistics of their relationship didn't really mesh with the story. One moment, they acknowledged that it might take a while but then another they were limiting it to three attempts. Putting that aside though, this was still fun to watch Enzo and Bianca fight their feelings. I also enjoyed the appearance of the previous characters. They definitely added touches of humor to the story.

All in all, still an enjoyable story. ( )

Loved this modern marriage of convenience, and I appreciated seeing the infertility issues too. Bianca and Enzo were made for each other, and I’m glad the enemies didn’t take too long to head to lovers as real arguing annoys me. ( )
