This series continues to get darker. Rhea, the sixth of Lady Eville's adopted daughters is sent to a cold mountainous kingdom of dwarves, goblins, a mad king, and layers upon layers of spells. Of course, Rhea is caught and hunted for using magic immediately on her arrival (why didn't her mother warn her that might be a bad idea). This is probably my favorite-ever retelling of Rumple Stiltskin, now a legend (mostly) who trapped Greed deep in the mountain. But as Greed has begun to break free, Rhea, along with the help of her new dwarf and human friends, must fight this evil again. A wonderful story. I got quite a few giggles in addition to my desire to throw pillows at certain characters for their idiocy. It was fun. I can't wait for my library to finally get book 7 so I can finish the series.
