The concept of using 72 names for God as the locii for meditation appealed as a means of pondering God's different aspects and the way each figures in our lives. But Yehuda Berg's attempt to spread these ideas through a chatty style and excessive exclamation points trivializes what could be a profound spiritual opportunity. ( ) Berg does a good job of describing the ego in the beginning chapters, but I tried the technique he suggests with several of the 72 Hebrew symbols, and it was difficult for me to focus on the images and memorize them in my mind's eye. Maybe with more practice it would become easier and I'd see results. The power of The 72 Names of God operates strictly on a soul level, not a physical one. It's about spirituality, not religiosity. Instead of being limited by the differences that divide people, the wisdom of the Names transcends humanity's age-old quarrels and belief systems to deal with one common bond that unifies all people and nations as one — the human soul. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
