Geared for elementary students, this picture book has substantial text, but with enough colorful and detailed illustrations to keep even the five-year-old engaged. Depicts a close and loving relationship between Arthur and his adoptive father, Sir Ector, and the book is dedicated to the author's father. ( )

I think this book would be too lengthy to read to children. If I were teaching kids about King Arthur, I would try to find a shorter book with just as much information. While I was not a fan of the book, I did like the illustrations. ( )

One in which the Disney movie was actually better than the book. Blaphemy I know. Long and tedious...especially the chapter about hunting. ( )
