![]() Nenhum(a) Ainda não há conversas na Discussão sobre este livro. ![]() ![]() Gum. It’s been around for centuries—from the ancient Greeks to the American Indians, everyone’s chewed it. But the best kind of gum—bubble gum!—wasn’t invented until 1928, when an enterprising young accountant at Fleer Gum and Candy used his spare time to experiment with different recipes. This book tells the story of how pink Dubble Bubble was invented. This book is about how bubble gum came to be what it is today. It was invented by a man named Walter Diemer. He was an accountant but was experimenting in his office for a new type of chewing gum for his company. He was testing different ingredients and he found bubbles in the gum. He was intrigued and kept adjusting the recipe. When the consistency was just right he added some pink dye to it and sent it to stores. Walter Diemer gave lessons on blowing bubbles too. Even though this invention never made him rich, he still had a good time watching people have fun. Even though I wouldn’t read this book again, I still enjoyed it. Who knew you can make a book about Bubble gum fun? I have always thought of gum as this thing in a package, but now I think of it as a thing in a package that I’ve read a book about. I wouldn’t recommend this book for you unless you are fascinated by bubble gum sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
