An alright book. Not boring but not thrilling. Was interesting to read about how others came to be racialist in their lives.

An open look at extreme American white nationalism through a series of interviews with their now deceased leader William Pierce. The author gained Pierce's confidence and the whole story is here, covering the early background, books, and situations that influenced him.
White nationalists come across as a small but dangerous group, with more general popular support only appearing for the milder form of nationalism (along broadly similar lines) championed by Patrick Buchanan.

The author found the clearest description of Pierce's views in a talk called "Our Cause" which he gave in one of his Sunday night meetings in late 1976. He had it on tape and it could be summarized under the following headings 1) No return to the Constitution (its out of date) 2) No return of power to the states 3) Strong central government is OK 4) Protect the environment and stop pollution 5) Return America to a country of European races 6) European Americans don't have to support multiculturalism or feel guilty about being white Europeans 7) Reverse the liberal agenda on sex, race and personal gratification 8) Follow Cosmotheism (unity with the life force).

Like it or not, Robert Griffin has written a very interesting book. I'm not in agreement with the subject but its an even handed presentation of the particular type of activism that resulted in the Oklahoma bombing and other crimes.
