I hated this story. The writing is extremely stilted. It is filled with a ridiculous amount of inner thoughts that are flat out stupid and repetitive AND STILTED! Very little actual Action.
There are adult sex scenes. Some were good some were..... Just weird. I don't mean weird like Erotic, I mean weird because while the sex is happening so are the ridiculously stilted and repetitive thoughts of both MC's.
Oh, and lets not forget the Numerous editing errors. I wanted to dnf so many times and I really don't know why I didn't. I really should have.

16 days! I took me Sixteen Days! to get through this book.
80% of it is just a lot of Talk & Thoughts, Talk & Thoughts, Talk & Thoughts.
And the Talking & Thoughts are the SAME freaking Talk & Thoughts.

Trigger - sexual assault & domestic abuse - this book is not for the faint of heart - don't read if this is something you can't process

Having said that, this was the best book I have ever read. The emotional roller coaster I was on was phenomenal. No author has ever had me feel all of the feelings the characters were going through. And I mean every character, including the side ones. This author (Nina G. Jones) has a gift. She needs to keep writing and sharing these emotions with her audience.

I laughed, I cried, my heart cracked, I routed, I raged, I plotted revenge...there is not one emotion I didn't feel for these individuals.

Two hearts that found each other torn apart by teenage hate and insecurities - brought back by vengeance and love to be torn apart again by self indulgence and blindness. I just couldn't put this book down. The author had me at every turn of the page. And the heat between these two characters were off the charts!

I definite recommend this read from me. This is the #1 book I have ever read and would be hard to beat.… (mais)
