Sobre mimI love reading (doh!). I also love music. I think I'm the world's hippest mom of a teenager =;o). I love mysteries, suspense, things victorian (like historical mysteries), criminology, forensics, true crime. Also love all the shows--CSI, Crossing Jordan, AE Cold Case, The first 48 etc. I love my friends in Chicago and all things Michael McDermott.
Sobre a minha bibliotecaActually I've worked in a library since 1980. Wow. My personal library reflects what I love most. Reading about true crime, serial killers, profiling, forensics and criminology. I'm contemplating a career change, well after I go back to school. Also love reading thrillers, suspense, romantic suspense, historical mysteries and various other things.

I was looking at the new connections feature and was surprised you and I did not share the true crime book Sniper in the Tower by Gary M. Lavergne, since this crime occurred in Texas. I remember it, but it was probably before your time. Thought you might want to check it out.

Oh! yon hills are filled with sunlight, and the green leaves paled to gold,
And the smoking mists of Autumn hanging faintly o’er the wold;
I dream of hills of other days whose sides I loved to roam
When Spring was dancing through the lanes of those distant hills of home.
The winds of heaven gathered there as pure and cold as dew;
Wood-sorrel and wild violets along the hedgerows grew,
The blossom on the pear-trees was as white as flakes of foam
In the orchard ’neath the shadow of those distant hills of home.
The first white frost in the meadow will be shining there to-day
And the furrowed upland glinting warm beside the woodland way;
There, a bright face and a clear hearth will be waiting when I come,
And my heart is throbbing wildly for those distant hills of home.

You and I share a few books. I wanted to make a few recommendations to you. The best true crime I read last year was With Murderous Intest by Robert Hemming. It is an oldy but a goody.
As far as suspense I think you would like Cause for Alarm by Erica Spindler and A THin Red Line by Tami Hoag and also Ashes to Ashes by Tami Hoag.
Happy reading!
