One of my favorite things about books are the words that make them up. This book had no dialogue; the only words to appear were in the background, on newspapers, billboards, etc. Still, after "reading" it (in like an hour), I feel like it told a story better than most people do with actual words. The weaving in and out of the character's stories, the art, and the plot were all fantastic. Read this book! ( )

Het verhaal is stomend, maar misschien wat te grotesk, te filmisch en te somber - een corrupte presidentsverkiezing, raciale moorden, een radioactieve bom ... alleen in een actiefilm heb je zoveel ongein nodig - en had waarschijnlijk aan kracht en ontroering gewonnen was Kuper gewoon bij de 'gewone man' en het 'kleine verhaal' gebleven. Toch is er ook ruimte voor hoop en rechtvaardigheid ... tot de bom ontploft, weliswaar ... ( )
