Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. ( ) I don't care what people say about The Twilight Saga, I love these books deeply. Yes, I've loved them before they were turned into movies and known by every single person in the world. But you know what? I don't care that they're famous, now. I think it's kind of stupid when people are like "You know, I loved Twilight but I hate it now because everyone loves it and I WANT TO BE DIFFERENT. WUHOOO. LOL.". I've seen so many people saying thinks like that and it makes me laugh my ass off because if you love a thing you don't care about what other people may think of it. At least, that's what I think. If you love someone, for instance, you don't care that people may say they're ugly or boring, because for you, they're someone special. I have the conscience that Meyer isn't a great writer. She isn't. But to me, these books mean something. I don't care when people 'make fun of me' because I'm this girl who reads Nietzsche books, or Kafka's or Dostoiévski's AND TWILIGHT. I'm open minded about a lot of things and if I like something, I don't care about people saying I shouldn't like them. I don't get it, all that hate on twilight. I get, you don't like the books, you're free to share your opinion with other, but to be constantly saying you hate the books and telling people they shouldn't like them? LOL, if you do that, you're just ridiculous. Anyway, I loved New Moon, but it wasn't as good as Twilight or Eclipse, IMO. It was better than Breakind Dawn, though. And yup, I know my english isn't perfect.
Less streamlined than Twilight yet just as exciting, New Moon will more than feed the bloodthirsty hankerings of fans of the first volume and leave them breathless for the third. This best-selling sequel to “Twilight” — which introduced Edward, the world’s most gentlemanly 17-year-old vampire, and Bella, an ordinary teenager in Forks, Wash. — appropriately begins with an epigraph from “Romeo and Juliet”; love and death are once again entwined in their curiously absorbing romance. Despite Bella's flat and obsessive personality, this tale of tortured demon lovers entices. Está contido emContémTem a adaptaçãoTem um guia de estudo para estudantesPrémiosDistinctionsNotable Lists
When the Cullens, including her beloved Edward, leave Forks rather than risk revealing that they are vampires, it is almost too much for eighteen-year-old Bella to bear, but she finds solace in her friend Jacob until he is drawn into a "cult" and changes in terrible ways.
