I find it interesting, and enjoyable, that all the X-books of this era (after Avengers/X-Men UtopiaX and going at least until Nechrosha maybe even until Schism, we'll see) don't really follow a "team" but more weave a story about the lives of all the mutants and how they interact from all different perspectives. So, yeah. I like. ( )

This book was pretty mediocre, which makes me a bit sad since I've been enjoying X-Men Legacy until now. I'll press on, since I know there is the promise of more Magneto in the future. ;)

Basically, Monet St. Croix's evil brother, Emplate, has been freed and wants to glut himself on mutants. Apparently that is the way he survives. So he abducts Bling!, which is seriously one of the dumbest mutant names I've seen in quite some time (it always ends with the !, which is just downright annoying), on whom he can feed indefinitely since her skin is 90% diamond. But then Rogue goes and saves the day. And...that's about it. Unfortunately, the story is totally forgettable. ( )

A return of an old X-Men foe, Emplate. Rogue figures out that her role with the X-Men has changed, again. And that's about all that really happens in this volume. Honestly, what's going on over in Uncanny is so much better than what is happening in Legacy right now. It's not bad, there's just lots of room for improvement. ( )
