What a book! I haven't read anything that made laugh this much. My sides ache from all the laughing I did. I generally don't recommend books, but I would recommend this
Simple in concept, but precious few other books have caused me to literally laugh out loud so frequently.

His travel diary of his trips to the seven wonders of the world is equal parts adventurous, funny, and inciteful. He happily goes along with the various "side trips" that Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant think up to place him in new and uncomfortable situations. This is a great travel book, but I have no desire to follow in all of his footsteps.
I adore Karl Pilkington. His books and his way of thinking make me laugh out loud while reading...which is something that rarely occurs for me. This book received 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 because I'd heard most of these stories in the podcasts/other books/Ricky Gervais show on HBO. While some of them still made me chuckle, I found myself looking forward to the next book in my stack to read rather than really connecting with this. Overall though, Karl is wonderful and will make you at least smile. I've read all of his books now...and I would definitely recommend them!… (mais)
