I don't even know where to start with this. I was reading another blog and saw a review for a Reverse Harem book and thought I might check it out ( step away from YA for a minute). So off to Amazon I went and got sucked down a rabbit hole. So I ended up coming across this series and figured since all of them were out I would go ahead and purchase them.

Wow!! Is really all I can say.

This is really just a retelling of Alice in Wonderland but made with a modern-day teenager and hot as sin male characters. Allison-who-isn't-Alice is crushing on a guy, her sister drags her to a party; Allison talks to the guy, the guy is a prick to her. Then she gets to witness her crush getting shot in the face.

I don't know about you, but I'm not chasing after a guy that literally stood in front of me and shot someone in the face. I'll call 911 and give as much of a description as possible, but my butt is staying put!! But not Allison, she chases after the "White Rabbit" after calling 911 and ends up falling down the rabbit hole.

It just gets more twisted from there. Tweedledee and Tweedledum are introduced, naked mind you. They are sexy as sin also, and covered in tattoos, wearing Drink Me and Eat Me signs respectively. You can see where this is going right??

The book is good, and while the cussing is a bit much for me, I do like that there is an actual plot to the story and not a ton of sex. The sexual tension is there between all the characters, but it doesn't take anything away from the book. The witting is a tad repetitive for my taste, how many times do I need to know so and so is "dripping in ink"? But otherwise, a great read and I'll be continuing the series.… (mais)

I'm honestly not sure I liked this book. I understand that it was the last book in the series, but things seemed a little rushed and all over the place. There was definitely more sex in this one, but having 9 men and not having slept with at least 4 of them; I knew most would get shoved into this one.

Most of the story was great if you skimmed the sex scenes. But I figured going into this series there wouldn't be a ton of plot. And really, Allison is 18; as she reminds us repeatedly! The twist in the beginning with Allison's father was one I didn't really see coming, but I like that she figured it all out fairly quickly.

When she broke her mother out of jail, I felt that was a bit far-fetched for my liking, guess I watched to much Prison Break!

The "battle" was a bit of a letdown, but I did see the potential for an epic one, Stunich just didn't really deliver on that end. And Allison getting stuck Topside was extremely aggravating, not that she got stuck, but her whining and complaining was annoying.


The "wedding" was another let down for me, as was the final sex scene with all 9 men. It was really just lack luster all around and I felt that the ending was completely rushed to met a deadline. I'm just glad I didn't have to wait between books because that would have left a really bad taste in my mouth.… (mais)

In the second book of the Harem of Hearts series, we are introduced to the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, Cheshire Cat, the King of Hearts, and a whole host of other characters. We get more sex in this book, but honestly not enough to distract from the plot. There is more cussing and lots of innuendos, and of course more indecisiveness from Allison-who-isn't-Alice about whether to stay in Underland or go home.

Allison learns to use her magic to an extent, she is also being taught how to fight by the Savage Duke. Allison still says she will not marry the King of Hearts, but we all know how wishy-washy she is by now. Just know there is no wedding in this book… (mais)
